To access your authentic voice, you need a safe, non-judgmental environment. This is necessary because self-censoring inhibits the version of yourself that needs to emerge. In psychotherapy I offer this kind of environment so that I can help you to develop compassion for who you already are. From this stance of self-compassion and self-respect, we can together look at any patterns of thinking, feeling, acting, and relating that might be hindering you in some way–patterns that once probably served you, but that now you need to move past.
