Meet Erica

Psychotherapy is sometimes called the “talking cure.” It is a process of understanding both the conscious and unconscious aspects of ourselves, and how these inner dynamics shape our emotional life and patterns of behaviour.

Together, we’ll talk about your life and what your body and mind are trying to tell you. Though you may come to therapy with specific problems or feelings, our goal is to make connections and discover the underlying patterns that are influencing you. 

This isn’t always easy, and it can take courage, but this process can lead to increased understanding of the forces shaping your inner life. Once this happens, you’ll create new possibilities for change. All those experiences and feelings that once felt overwhelming can become much more manageable, so that you have a sense of agency and control over your own life.
