If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or caught in patterns you can’t seem to change, you’re not alone.
Many people come to therapy because something isn’t working anymore—anxiety that won’t quiet down, relationship struggles that keep repeating, or a sense of disconnection from themselves or others. Sometimes there’s a clear problem. Sometimes there’s just a quiet feeling of “I can’t keep doing this the same way.”
Therapy is a space to slow down and understand what’s happening beneath the surface. Together, we make sense of your experiences, untangle patterns that feel automatic, and create room for new choices. The goal isn’t to “fix” you—it’s to help you feel more steady, more connected, and more like yourself.
You provide the content for our sessions, while my role is to guide the therapeutic process—bringing structure, curiosity, and perspective so we can better understand what’s happening in your life and where you’d like things to shift.
Therapy is collaborative and moves at a pace that feels manageable. You can bring whatever feels most important—anxiety, relationship challenges, past experiences, or something you can’t quite put into words yet. Some days you may know exactly what you want to talk about; other days you may not. If you feel stuck, I’ll help guide us. You don’t have to carry the direction alone.
Over time, many clients notice they feel more grounded, clearer about their needs, and less caught in old patterns.
Most clients begin by meeting weekly or every other week, especially at the start, as consistency helps build momentum and trust. My rate is $175 for a 50-minute individual session and $250 for a 60-minute couples session. If you have questions about scheduling, fit, or logistics, we can discuss them during a no-fee consultation so you feel informed before making any decisions.
My interest in psychotherapy began when I was a teenager and started my own therapy. That experience changed the direction of my life. It helped me understand myself more deeply and expanded my sense of what was possible.
Before becoming a psychotherapist, I worked as a teacher with the Toronto District School Board. Working with children and adolescents taught me how much can be communicated without clear words. Often, people feel things long before they can explain them. I bring that same attentiveness into my work now—helping you find language for experiences that may feel confusing, layered, or hard to express.
My approach is thoughtful, patient, and grounded in careful listening.
I hold BA and BEd degrees and completed my clinical training at the Centre for Training in Psychotherapy.
You can contact me anytime at andreycaric@gmail.com to set up an initial no-fee consultation. Currently, I only have daytime appointments available.
