Psychotherapy is a space of exploration and understanding. Together we’ll explore your history, your feelings, and your emotions, shifting between your sense of the past and of the here-and-now. We’ll come to understand how past and present experiences have affected and shaped you. Therapy can help us discern where your history has benefitted you, but also learn where you may feel held back, or that you’re missing some needed resources. Further, we’ll discover new ways of living your life that will align with the person you are inside. Bringing them to the surface helps you live a life that is real and true to yourself.
Psychotherapy helps us do this because it gently deals with those deep thoughts, desires, and hopes that have been unacknowledged for so long and buried far away from our consciousness. This deepened awareness can be life-changing.
This work is not a quick fix. However, if we together invest our time and effort, you’ll have a better chance of living with more agency, autonomy, and self-esteem. The result of this work is greater resilience and serenity.
The goal of psychotherapy is to live life fully, with more pleasure. Therapy helps us create healthier relationships that are based on love, trust, and care. How does that sound to you?

Psychodynamic therapy expands our awareness. It involves focusing on what is active in our thinking and perspectives, but is often at the edge of our full consciousness. For example, we often find ourselves repeating unhelpful patterns because we haven’t been able to bring full awareness to our decisions. In this kind of therapy, we explore our emotions, our automatic behaviours—all of these things we think, do, and feel without intention. This helps us gain insight into our deepest desires, fears, and motivations, leading to deeper and more lasting change.
I usually recommend meeting once a week for 50 minutes. During these sessions, we will focus on what is more urgent to you, whether it is a present or a past issue. We’ll discuss your feelings, your frustrations, fears, and desires. My purpose is to provide a safe, honest, and confidential space where you can talk about yourself and what is happening for you.
I was initially trained as an engineer and worked in the field for 23 years. This gave me a vast insight into human relations. As I worked managing large teams of people, I found myself passionate about what makes people who they are, how they relate, how they feel, and why.
I decided then to pursue a psychotherapy program. I graduated from the Center for Training in Psychotherapy in Toronto, where I completed years of comprehensive study and training. Today, I have 9 years’ experience in my psychotherapy practice. I am a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), and the Canadian Association for Psychodynamic Therapy (CAPT).
Finally, let me share with you that my own psychotherapy journey has been one of the most exciting and fulfilling endeavors of my life.
My fee is $180.
