People come to therapy for different reasons: overwhelming feelings, anxiety, depression, or not feeling seen or understood. Perhaps a relationship pattern has emerged for you that’s blocking satisfaction or connection. Or maybe you keep trying to get “there,” but something gets in the way.

Whether you’re here because of a single disruptive event, or you have a sense of more general difficulty, it’s courageous to learn more about that something that may have begun to feel unmanageable on your own.

I meet with individuals 1-2 times weekly for 50-minute online sessions.  We begin with a conversation about why you’ve come to therapy, why you’ve done so now, and about your aims or hopes for the work. After I’ve asked about your personal history, our discussions follow what’s most on your mind.

I consider sessions to be time for you in a confidential space where you’re invited to explore thoughts and feelings with the shared focus of a collaborative and attuned listener.  Over the course of this longer-term talk therapy, we work with deepening curiosity toward authentic, meaningful engagement with yourself and your world.

A member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and the Canadian Association for Psychodynamic Therapy (CAPT), I graduated from the six-year academic, experiential, and practical program at The Centre for Training in Psychotherapy in 2023. I have been practicing as a therapist since 2020.

From the University of British Columbia, I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts.  Drawing on thirty years as a writer and performer, I bring a creative lens to my perspective and practice.

If you have any questions, feel free to get in touch via phone or text at 416-258-0452, or by email at PenelopeParkTherapy@gmail.com.  I have availability Mondays through Thursdays, both daytime and evenings for online sessions.  To get started, I offer a 20-minute no-fee consultation to see if working together feels like the right fit for you.

If you’d like more information, or to schedule a 20-minute no-fee consultation, please contact me via email at PenelopeParkTherapy@gmail.com, text or call 416-258-0452.
