My interest in psychotherapy began in adolescence, when I first began my own therapy. The experience opened up my conception of who I could be in the world, and changed the course of my life.
Prior to my work as a psychotherapist, I was a teacher for the Toronto District School Board. Since many young people don’t yet have words to express the complexity of their feelings, working with children and adolescents helped hone my ability to attune to communication that struggles to find language. I will bring this experience into my work with you, as we work to find words that illuminate the complexities of your lived experiences.
I hold BA and BEd degrees and am a graduate of the Centre for Training in Psychotherapy.
