About
You may be coming to therapy because something feels painful, overwhelming, stuck, or difficult to carry alone. Whatever brings you here, I want you to know that change is possible, and you do not have to figure it all out by yourself.
At the heart of my work is a strong, trusting relationship. I offer a free consultation so we can meet, talk about what is bringing you in, and see whether working together feels like a good fit. I want the first step to feel clear, respectful, and low pressure.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to you. I draw from contemporary therapy, somatic and psychodynamic approaches, parts work, and, where appropriate, spiritual and Indigenous-informed perspectives on healing. In practical terms, this means I help clients better understand their emotional patterns, reconnect with themselves, and move toward more grounded, honest, and workable ways of living.
People often come to me when they want more than quick advice. They want deeper healing. They want to understand why they feel the way they do, why certain patterns keep repeating, and how to begin changing them with care rather than self-judgment. My role is to walk alongside you as a guide and partner in that process.
I work with individuals and groups, both in person and online, and I support clients from many backgrounds and life situations. In our work together, my focus is not only on insight, but on helping you feel different in your daily life: calmer, clearer, more connected to yourself, and better able to respond to stress, trauma, relationships, and major life questions.
Sessions are shaped around your needs. Depending on what is most helpful, I may use thoughtful questions, reflection, storytelling, humor, somatic awareness, and work with different parts of the self. This can help you understand inner conflicts, soften old survival patterns, and develop a stronger sense of stability and self-trust.
My work is informed by psychodynamic therapy, parts-based approaches, Compassionate Inquiry, Deep Brain Reorienting, and trauma-aware practice. I also have a longstanding interest in spiritual care, Indigenous-informed healing perspectives, and the emerging field of psychedelic and plant medicine integration. When these areas are part of a client’s life, I approach them with respect, care, and attention to both lived experience and clinical understanding.
Above all, I aim to create a space where you can feel safe enough to be real, explore at your own pace, and begin moving toward the kind of life and relationships that feel more true to you.
I am a Counselling Therapist with the Association of Counselling Therapy of Alberta, a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor, and a Counselling Hypnotherapist. I am also a Board Member and member of the Canadian Association for Psychodynamic Therapy, as well as a member of the Society for Shamanic Practice and MAPS special access program group.
My professional path has also been shaped by the guidance of Balinese and Cree knowledge keepers, as well as plant medicine keepers, to whom I remain deeply grateful. Their mentorship has taught me the importance of humility, respect, and understanding both what I can offer and what I am still learning.
Alongside my therapy practice, I bring more than 26 years of experience as a consultant, educator, coach, and trainer. I continue to study trauma, mental health, personal and business development, dream work, plant medicine and psychedelic integration, leadership, and organizational development. I am a lifelong learner, and that curiosity continues to deepen both my work and my understanding of people.
I have studied several languages, mostly French and Spanish, as well as Italian, German, Hungarian, and Japanese, and I value working across cultures with openness and care. I have travelled extensively. My own journey, like that of many clients, has included learning through challenge, change, and intention. That lived experience continues to inform the way I meet others: with warmth, respect, and genuine curiosity.
We offer psychedelic-assisted therapy through clinics in Calgary, Edmonton, London, Vaughan, and Mississauga, with access to additional partner clinics depending on client needs and location. Because laws and access pathways for psychedelic care continue to evolve in Canada, we aim to make the process as clear, safe, and grounded as possible. My training includes specialized certificates in psychedelic therapy and psychedelic-assisted treatment, a microprogram in Psychedelics and Spirituality Studies at the University of Ottawa, and completeded thesis focused on relational healing within psychedelics and consciousness. My work in psychedelic-assisted therapy is rooted in both clinical training and ongoing academic study. I have completed specialized training in psychedelic therapy and psychedelic-assisted treatment, and I continue to deepen this work through studies, research, and lived professional experience.
Our approach is collaborative, individualized, and rooted in both safety and relationship. Where appropriate and legally available, we support clients in relation to psilocybin-assisted therapy, MDMA-assisted therapy, ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, and Health Canada Special Access Program pathways, including integration and follow-up support. We work closely with partner clinics and other professionals so that clients feel informed, prepared, and well supported throughout the process, while also bringing warmth, humanity, and genuine connection to the work.
If you are curious about psychedelic-assisted therapy, the first step is a conversation.
We can talk with you about what you are seeking, whether this kind of care may be appropriate for you, what options may be available in your location, and what the process could look like. If access involves approvals, partner clinics, or other steps, we will explain that as clearly as possible.
The goal of the first conversation is not pressure. It is clarity, fit, and safety. You deserve to understand your options and feel supported in deciding what is right for you.
