My own powerfully transformative experience as a client in therapy ignited my desire to help others transform their own lives.
My corporate career in clinical and pharmaceutical research has given me valuable knowledge of medical models for treating mental illness, including anxiety, depression and bipolar disorder.
This allows me to help clients who are on medication or contemplating medication to navigate between different treatment modalities. Understanding what therapy can do, versus what medication can do, is crucial to making the best decisions related to your wellbeing.
I continue to engage in ongoing training and education, and remain deeply excited about finding different ways to work with and help my clients achieve their goals.
I have trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy (CTP Graduate), sensorimotor psychotherapy (Level 1) and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP, Level 2). I consider ongoing supervision an essential part of my training/work and I’m actively pursuing further AEDP training.
