About
Psychotherapy helps us reconnect with the parts of ourselves that can get buried under stress, trauma, or other people’s expectations. In therapy, we peel back layers of fear and self-doubt to rediscover the strength and wholeness already within us.
Growth isn’t about fixing what’s broken. It’s about accepting all of our experiences — both the joyful and the difficult — and meeting ourselves with compassion. Therapy eases suffering, builds understanding, and supports lasting change.
Seeking therapy is a courageous choice to care for yourself and move toward balance, authenticity, and resilience.
I practice psychodynamic therapy, meeting with clients once or twice a week for 50-minute sessions. Because this work explores deeply, therapy is often medium- to long-term.
Together, we create a safe and confidential space for self-curiosity and reflection. Where you can unpack emotions, explore your experiences, and find meaning in your world. Growth unfolds naturally, at your own pace, supported by the trust we build.
My path into psychotherapy grew from a lifelong interest in the human mind and spirit. From a young age, I was curious about how our thoughts, feelings, and experiences shape the way we see ourselves and the world. That curiosity led me to study psychology, where I built a foundation in understanding human behaviour.
My own personal journey is what truly inspired me to become a therapist. Having gone through my own process of self-discovery and healing, I know firsthand how powerful therapy can be. Over the past twenty years, I’ve engaged in my own therapeutic work, uncovering deeper layers of self-awareness and growth.
I trained at the Centre for Training in Psychotherapy (CTP) in Toronto, with a focus on psychodynamic therapy and related approaches. Combined with lived experience, this training allows me to support clients navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, addictions, identity, relationships, and life transitions.
I offer sessions both in-person and online at my convenient central Toronto office, in the Annex, so you can choose the setting that works best for you.
Email me to book a 20-minute no-fee Zoom consultation. I currently have daytime appointments available. Sessions are available in person (Dupont and Spadina) or online.
I’d be glad to answer your questions and hear more about what brings you to therapy.
