I help clients connect with the meaning behind their experiences through psychodynamic and relational therapy. Everything that happens in our lives calls to be understood, integrated, and woven into our personal story. I believe this process is essential if we hope to create meaningful change.
Sometimes, our awareness of ourselves sits at the very edge of consciousness, making it difficult to access on our own. In therapy, we create space to explore these hidden aspects of experience, supporting healing from trauma, codependency, and relationship patterns, while helping you move toward a greater sense of wholeness, balance, and self-understanding.
I tailor my approach to each client’s unique goals and needs. In my experience, most people already have a sense of what feels missing in their lives and what they hope might become possible through therapy. I consider it my role to help them explore that path.
I believe the therapeutic relationship is the most important resource in the therapy room. The connection that develops between client and therapist can become a space where old patterns are understood, new experiences emerge, and meaningful change becomes possible. For this reason, cultivating a strong therapeutic relationship is central to the way I work.
I began working with my own psychodynamic psychotherapist in my early twenties, and the experience was transformative. Through our work together, I finally came to understand why I was feeling the way I was feeling. It was at this point that I became fascinated by the process itself.
I found myself wanting to understand what made this work feel so life-changing. That curiosity eventually led me to apply to The Centre for Training in Psychotherapy, where I found a professional home and a place where I could truly be myself.
I know what it feels like when the outside doesn’t match the inside. I know what it is like to search for relief in external change, only to discover that the answers lie in developing a different relationship with yourself. I feel grateful to do this work, helping others connect with their inner world while continuing to learn about my own.
The beginning of therapy can feel overwhelming, and I like to take things slowly as we begin to get to know one another. If my page is speaking to you, I invite you to book a 15-minute consultation. We can talk about what it is you’re looking for and explore whether we might be a good fit to work together.
