In psychotherapy, we nurture your natural desire to grow and make sense of your experiences to foster clarity and action. We work together to see what holds you back so you can move towards positive change.

Therapy can help with issues such as overwhelming feelings, effects of abuse, relationship pressures, workplace stresses, and life transitions.

I bring my natural tendency to be inviting, respectful, attentive, and curious into every psychotherapy session. I work at your pace with the understanding that there are reasons why you feel and act the way you do.

I believe you do your best to cope with inner struggles and life challenges, and that you are looking for new ways to be yourself, grow, and meet life. We work with your strengths.
I use a mix of in-depth conversation, body awareness, and knowledge of various therapeutic modes to focus on your particular needs.

My quest to make sense of myself, others, and life struggles led me to psychotherapy as a client and as a therapist. I found psychotherapy can be transformational.
I am passionate about helping adults work through their struggles to help them achieve their goals, inner harmony, purpose, and fulfillment.

Because of my background, I deeply understand the pressures and struggles of growing up in two cultures, especially first- and second-generation Canadian families from Eastern cultures. Struggles become heightened during transitions in life, such as entering university, the workforce, relationships, and mid-life.

I bring my intuitive and intellectual capacities to understand others from different perspectives.

I create a safe, accepting space, free from expectations, where we move at your pace.

You are unique and your therapy will be, too. Every person has an inner world of possibilities that can be limited for different reasons. We will look at your past experiences from fresh perspectives.
The length of the therapy depends on your history, your reasons for coming to therapy, and what you are looking for.

Psychotherapy is a special time you set aside for yourself. You will respond to therapy like any other activity. You will experience the full range of your emotions, the hard work of staying with difficult feelings, and the joy of breakthroughs. You will also have emotional reactions to me just as you do with other people.

The key to therapy is to explore all of these experiences so you can reveal and connect more deeply with yourself. By engaging with these feelings, you solidify your self-awareness and inner strength.

My aim is to help you build a more solid self so it is easier to manage life’s events and relationships, and increasingly experience life’s richness by being more of your true self outside of psychotherapy.

My office is located in Toronto.
